Rooster Days in Broken Arrow was fun. It really was like a mini version of the fair. Booths inside selling random crap, more food that you could ever eat in a day, but you try anyway b/c dammit, fair food is good! Rides and other overpriced fun stuff (get the megapass for 30 bucks, you'll be glad you did), and of course, you can't have hometown

we went too, but we missed the parade. somehow we ended up with a sweet parking spot right across from the park in the little strip mall thing. each end of that lot was charging $5 to park, but the middle was free. *shrug* weird, but worked great. heh. did you see those marble slab oil lamp things for sale in the community center? those and the pineapple whip made the day for me. good times in BA. :D

Those marble oil lamp things were COOL!! We got nick a wooden train from the woodcarving place in the community center, and I'm very seriously considering going back today and getting a puzzle box from them too. Oh, and the wax dipped stuffed animals were cool too.

Of course he rode the ponies!! :D
