Lol, its a good thing you have my lj to remind you of jewish holidays, huh? I don't really know what to suggest for your daughter but I'm sure you'll find something she wants. Have a happy Hannakah! Abi :)
I was going to buy her Avatar: The Last Airbender DVDs but it's not really fair to buy her something I want... XD She likes cooking DVDs but I think she has all the ones she wants right now.

Dear Abi,
We all love you. But the "crazy" idea that your Prime Minister will "throw our country away" is all wrong. If he can negotiate a deal which brings peace, it will be well worth allowing the Arabs to have part of Jerusalem as well as getting rid of many of the settlements which should never have been put on Arab land in the first place.
In any negotiation, each side gives something and gets something in return. We have to give land and get peace. Isn't peace more important than land?
Time and time again we have given land and gotten war. We give land for the promise of peace over and over again. After seeing hundreds of Jews being taken out of their homes and watching their homes be destroyed in The Gaza strip and then seeing more terror attacks, more Kassams, more terror and more shattered lives and then more promises that if we just retreat a little more then we will get the peace we want so much, I just don't beleive it. Of course human life is more valuable than land. But the arabs know that we value life, and they use it against us, they know that we want peace so they promise it and they know how to pretend to be what the world wants to beleive that they are

Dear Abi,
I understand your point of view. But I hope you can agree that our leaders do not intend to "throw our country away". They are honest patriotic people negotiating in good faith. No-one will do anything which says that Israel has no right to exist. But in any negotiation each side must give something. If all we do is stay strong and display confidence, there can never be progress and there will be more wars. Is that what you want?
