Some motivation is needed

So, I'm back home for the summer and am just bursting with all kinds of summer goals, as I usually am around this time of May. I think I'm being a little bit more realistic this time, but my goals aren't concrete at all. I just want to read a lot, be outside as much as possible, eat better and work out or at least be somewhat active. Usually my ( Read more... )

It's gunna suck, but you really should be getting up at 5.30 or so every morning to do your working out. Mornings are the BEST time. Mayo Clinic suggests an hour of activity everyday. After work is certainly not a good time to do it because then you're wired all evening. Believe me, waking up early and doing it is the way to go because it gives you the energy you need all day long, and you'll get a great sleep in. Depending on how well you bike, you could go out for ya know...25 minutes or so and get 10-15 miles in which is usually around 700 calories. Come home, shower, and eat a good breakfast, and you're good to go! Walking during (or to and from) your lunch would also help add to that hour you need.
