It's been an interesting summer so far, folks. Last night I had a fat freakout (new rule: no weighing self before bed) and while I did cry a lot, Aaron and I worked out some new ground rules and ideas. I have no motivation to go on a diet. I'd like to (as you saw with the veggie post), but most of the low fat shit is flavorless. And coming from a French family, I refuse to sacrifice taste.

Last time I was at the gym, someone stole my mp3 player. Bastards.

Then don't make it flavorless! Some of the greatest meals I've ever had have been lightened up versions of the regular receipe. You could try taking one you like a lightening it up a little bit at a time. Cooking Light Magazine is a good resource. Also, fruits and veggies just rock, so maybe start to replace some snacks with those. Or eat a salad first (with very little dressing, obviously) and that can fill you up a little before the regular meal. Just some thoughts.

I just think I'm destined to be bigger. Big hips and boobs and all. Unfortunately.
