Ummmm....(in a Katie-esque tone)...does anyone else ever get thoroughly confused by Equity rules? Like the whole Index telling you to go to page like 78 for rule 59 and rule 59 says that something is so unless 59 (c) applies and if so then you need to go to 59 (c) 2.4572 subplot asterisk roman numeral twelve. They're fun, aren't they? And the CAT contract has some things that are quite different from the SPT, which'll be fun for you! :)

Of course, none of us can even figure out why the freaking Gem has a CAT contract in the first place...it's not in the Chicago Area last time I checked...unless that's a ridiculously BIG area!

Hey - do you have an open ended run at the Gem, and/or what's your schedule after? You fully booked for next season?

The fact that Detroit is so not within 30 miles of Chicago was the first thing that threw me off and it's all been downhill from there!!! ;-P
As for the run of the show, right now we're scheduled through December 31st, but my contract says "Open" and the actors' say that the date is not guaranteed. So...I'm not completely booked for next season...but I probably wouldn't be able to commit to anything but a summer show or later based on when Esky would close and rehearsals for said show would start... :-)

I would love to do that...but it's my actors who are asking the questions and being their stage manager, I kind of need the answers. ;-P
