What's the "OMG" for? Tell me! Have you taken a class with him? We just had the screening which I liked, but the seminar was ...alright. He's not nearly as structured as Malcolm, and the majority of the class is filmmaking students who haven't ever taken film history classes (maybe some of them have taken one, I don't really know)..but like..it's an advanced class. I wouldn't try to take an advanced filmmaking class, you know? I don't like that they're treating it like the same thing. It's kind of condescending, I feel. Not to mention that they're ALL looking at the films from a filmmaking, and not film theorist, perspective. What do you think?
