This is the second time i've done this post cos there was a big computer crash the first time :'( Anyway, i was there watching the slaughter (evil, evil mums!) and here are Nick's most lolarious comments/answers from the chat (Nick in bold) -
Mr Clegg do you think you are reasurring any of the people who doubt the efficacy and morality of the coalition government with the answers that you are giving this evening?
Give me a chance! Am answering as rapidly/sincerely/fully as I can - no one can say I'm not facing the music.

Is 'git' a sweary word?
Yes, if it's aimed at me.
I thought this chat was supposed to be about the UN summit?
It is, but so many MNers are asking about other things. I'm trying to answer as many as I can! (poor Nick)
Bah! Nick, I liked you on the TV and I liked the lib dem policies. But I can't stand the tories, and you've turned into one.
Well there's at least half a compliment there. The Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives are as distinct as we've always been, but the fact is, when parties come together I think people are inevitably going to draw these kind of comparisons.
And finally, this is still making me giggle! -
Thank you to everyone who took the time to come and post tonight. Sorry I couldn't answer them all. We got drawn off topic a fair bit, but I do understand why, and I think it would be fair to say you've given me a tougher grilling than Paxman!
I'm pleased we at least managed a few questions on the MDG summit, and a lot of people clearly have strong views on what you want us to achieve there.
Good night Mumsnet.
P.S. I'm not a Tory!
