Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
makes 9-12 cookies [made a baker's dozen for me]

3/4 cup + 1 tbsp spelt flour [i used approx. 3/4 cup white wheat flour]
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda (bicarb)

I made the cookies with golden syrup and soft brown sugar instead of maple syrup, molasses and granulated/caster sugar. They came out well again, though it helps to warm the golden syrup before trying to mix it, as it's rather thicker than maple.

Haven't tried the bean spread yet because I discovered the only beans I have in any real quantity are kidney and black beans.
