 I don't think drying the tobacco for a day did any good.  Baby's First Pipe still went out after every puff or two.  I'm thinking either I'm not packing the bowl properly, puffing too earnestly, or need a better pipe.  But I did get a slightly better smoke today, by holding a lit candle in one hand, pipe in the other, and relighting constantly as

Hahaha, I think it could suit me if I could just get the hang of keeping it lit. And clean. That orange plastic bit hangs on to moisture and grit. Tiny pipes are like tiny children: adorable but messy!
