Donghae looked around at all the people in the crowd. He was looking for one person, even though he told himself that he wanted to see Siwon and Heechul too. Still, he kept looking at who got off each train, knowing it wouldn’t be him, but hoping for the impossible anyway. Hankyung would be home soon, and Donghae wanted to see him so badly.
He couldn’t really tell when it was that he first started to feel that way about the other. Because really, they were band mates and close friends so at first it seemed only natural. It wasn’t until one day, when he came to the realization that he really didn’t feel the same way about any of the other members that he was stunned. He had never dreamed it possible, but somehow, just somehow, he had fallen in love with Hankyung.
And Hankyung wasn’t exactly a bad guy to fall in love with. On the contrary, he was sweet, a great listener, and gentle, the perfect boyfriend material. It just shocked Donghae that he of all people would fall in love with him. He stared as the next train pulled in and all the people got off. Still no Hankyung. It wasn’t as if he would change his mind and fall in love with someone else, because it really isn’t that simple. He was just curious, why out of all the people, Hankyung?
His head whipped towards where the trains pulled in again on reflex, and he realized just how much he was looking forward to seeing Hankyung. He tried to force himself not to look, but everytime, he just couldn’t help it. He automatically turned to see if Hankyung was there. Finally, after hours of waiting, Hankyung’s train pulled in, and Donghae stared, until he saw Hankyung get off the train, then he stood up and ran.
“Hyung,” he cried, throwing his arms around Hankyung’s neck, “welcome home.” Hankyung smiled gently at him.
“Thanks Donghae-ah,” he said, his smooth gentle voice music to Donghae’s ears. Out of all the people, he really did love Hankyung the most, he had to admit it.
