Kangin sat down at the kitchen table and stared at the stuffed animal in his hands. It was a cute little stuffed raccoon that a fan had sent him. He sighed as he stared at it again. He had to say that it was very soft and huggable, he was envious. Lost in his thoughts of jealousy towards the small plush creature, he didn’t notice as Eunhyuk crept up beside him until a finger poked him in the cheek.
“What’re you doing?” asked Eunhyuk, hopping up on the chair next to him.
“Have you ever noticed how huggable these things are?” Kangin asked him, and Eunhyuk shrugged.
“Yeah…they are pretty cute and all.” Kangin shook his head.
“No, I mean, they just make you jealous sometimes.” Eunhyuk tilted his head to the side.
“How so?” Kangin sighed.
“Okay,” he said, “so usually girls have these, right? Or they buy them or something.” Eunhyuk nodded.
“Yeah hyung.”
“So,” said Kangin, “then after that they just sit there and hug them all day long, or carry them around with them and hug them all day long, or brag to their friends about how often they hug them. Stuffed animals…they’re lucky,” he finished. Eunhyuk nodded.
“I see what you mean.” They both sat there and stared at the raccoon for a moment, in silence.
“You know what though, hyung,” said Eunhyuk, “I think you’re pretty huggable too, when you’re not mad.” He smiled happily at Kangin.
“Think so?” he asked, and Eunhyuk nodded.
“I think the fans do too.” Both of them laughed, and Kangin pulled Eunhyuk into a hug.
“You know Hyukkie,” he said, “you’re not so bad.” He got off the stool and grabbed the stuffed raccoon, “But still, you’re nowhere as great as this thing.” Hugging the raccoon, he walked out of the kitchen, leaving Eunhyuk to stare after him, mouth hanging open.
