The sky was dark. It was winter already, almost Christmas in fact, and Kyuhyun stared out at the city from his window. It was cold and dark, even with all of the lights from the city shining. He stared up at the sky. There was the moon, pale and bright, and all the little stars that dotted the sky. But there was one thing missing. He looked around, there were no snowflakes. He wondered why they weren’t here yet, surely they had to be coming soon. They should have been there already, but you couldn’t rush these things. He just hoped that it did snow. Though, it always did. But then, maybe it wouldn’t this year, just because everyone took it so for granted.
“It always snows,” they said all the time, “it’s just been…hotter than usual this year.” He sighs and looks up to the sky again.
“Hey,” he hears a voice from behind him. Eunhyuk walks up next to him and smiles, Looking up at the sky as well.
“Praying for snow?” he asks, and Kyuhyun nods. He feels a bit foolish for it at first, but Eunhyuk replies,
“Yeah, me too.” He smiles, and the two of the sit there watching the sky all night, falling asleep by the window. When they wake up in the morning, they are all smiles. The city is coated in a lovely blanket of white. It finally feels like winter.
