Sungmin stared up at the ceiling. It was way too cold for him to sleep. Not that that was the real reason he couldn’t sleep. But he would say it was, he would tell anyone that it was just too cold. It was too cold without him. Sungmin had always held the firm belief that there was no one better than him, that if he ever left, he wouldn’t find anyone else, but Sungmin was wrong. He shuddered, from the cold and the thoughts. He heard a sound and looked to the door, seeing Eunhyuk standing in the door frame.
“Is it just me, or is it kind of cold?” asked Eunhyuk from the door. Sungmin nodded.
“It is really cold today.” Eunhyuk smiled, and walked over to the bed.
“Do you mind?” Sungmin shook his head, because he didn’t. Anyone to take his place was welcome. Anyone who could assure his belief that he was indeed the best, that there wasn’t anyone better than him.
“Hyuk,” he asked, “what do you think of me?” Eunhyuk turned to face him and smiled.
“You’re…someone very special,” he said. His cheeks tinted a bit when he said that, and Sungmin had to smile.
“Thanks Hyuk,” he said. The two of them snuggled up together under the blankets, driving away the cold. Sungmin smiled as Eunhyuk fell asleep.
“Thank you for believing in only me.”
