It’s been three years, one month, and nine days since Leeteuk first became Leeteuk. It’s been not quite that long since he met Kyuhyun. It’s been exactly one year, since he realized how much he really likes Kyuhyun, more than just a fellow band member and the ‘group mom’. It’s been six months and twenty four days since he found out that Kyuhyun already has someone, a cute someone, a special someone, a someone he loves very much. It’s been every second of every minute of every hour of every day since then that Leeteuk has to wonder why it wasn’t him, and the seconds begin to add up. He’s gone over the million mark, the billion mark, the trillion mark, because it doesn’t even stop when he sleeps. It’s been two months since he’s woken up in the morning with tears running down his cheeks gasping for breath. And it’s still an eternity too early for anyone else to notice. But, he is wrong, the numbers all of a sudden shift and disappear, all calculations thrown off in the instant that Kyuhyun walks into his room.
“Hyung,” he says, three seconds pass, “I think…” another five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, “I think you should get over me.” Time stops completely, all counters and clocks break, everything, all the numbers in Leeteuk’s head disappear completely. It’s been one, two, three seconds since his heart broke and Kyuhyun left his room, the sound of the door echoing through the emptiness of a room full of empty white.
