So I finally bought a winter hat. Lord & Taylor was having a big sale on cashmir, so I went for it. It's pink!

Also, they had just kicked off their old-fashioned Christmas. Brass quartet, gorgeous window dressings, the works. Tons of people gazing at the windows outside, camera crews all around.

I felt very luxe. They even wrapped my new hat gently
