Everythings Worse With Bears - 'Beowulf' is a kenning for bear. 'Wulf' basically just meant 'predator' in Old English, so the literal meaning is 'Predator of Bees' or 'Enemy of Bees'. Basically, Beowulf is like a wolf with bees in its mouth, and when it howls, it shoots bees at you
