One of my professors was the acting chair for the international robotics coference they had last week down in New Orleans, he brought back a DVD showing some of the better results people have.

Automonmous independent thinking robots, they have one human size walker, and a robot that can withstand 100g of force... very scary stuff.

And isn't Honda's Asimo considered a human size walker?
