Dr. Doiron enjoyed teaching Digital Electronics much more than it sounds like he enjoyed Physics. He wasn't the clearest or most patient instructor, but I never wondered why he was there.
My one memory of him comes from one day in Digital when I suddenly burst out laughing. Kristen Van Horn (I think?), my lab partner, asked me what was so funny, and I couldn't help myself.
"You know you've been in Digital Electronics too long when you start mentally converting bra sizes into decimal."
Doiron actually hid his face behind a sheet of paper. I think he was blushing.
