Well, I was hoping that I could tell you all today that I was now part of a political family. But, alas, no deal. My uncle Frank lost his bid for Pennsylvania state rep. Welcome to the wonderful Boston job market. Sucks like a hoover. So does this part of the country. At least it is nice to be called the Gay state, much better than the hates people to be happy because they are not white protestants.

Amen, brother! I just keep asking myself every day "Why would anyone choose to live here?" Even if they just moved to Indiana, it would be like getting a $10,000 bonus every year just from cost of living savings. It would be even more if they moved to some place like Tennessee. Plus, the weather is better there and the people aren't pissed off all the time.

It seems like most New Englanders have never really left New England, though, and have some bizarre notion that this is simply the greatest part of the country. I'm just glad that I'm not one of them.
