Next weekend is the "race for the cure" 5k walk, that I do with Mommy and Alicia. Fun times. 2 weeks after that is the first half-marathon of the season....and I'm nervous. I set my goal at 2hrs 50min. I'm not nervous that I won't finish, just that I'll be slower than I want. Oh well, at least I'll have Jason here rooting me on. I can't fail ( Read more... )

Saturday morning at 8am, I participated in a 10k run/walk thingy as part of the mini-marathon training series. 10k is pretty much half a half(mini)-marathon. My goal time was 1hr 25min (to make my overall mini-marathon time 2hr 50min). I miraculously finished in 1hr 17min 45sec. yay. So hopefully I can keep up that pace in May for the real race ( Read more... )
