yeah, they pretty much have the clothes on their back, the same story as every one else... i'm pretty sure mommy and daddy will get stuff for themselves pretty quickly, it's the baby i'm more concerned with.

daddy's not really the picture of emotional love, either. they all need prayers.

you wouldn't have evacuated New Orleans?
why would you risk your life and your families like that?

i don't know when, excatly, they left, but that point is moot. the point is they don't have anything, and i'm just trying to help out.

I was asking about you though. you said "i would never move out of the texas gulf coast"

and no where did i say we shouldn't help the people who evacuted or were later rescued. I just wanted to point out that many people chose to stay when they could have left. And for those specific people to complain after the fact on tv and bad mouth people who are trying to help is terrible.

okay, let me clarify- the furthest i would live near the gulf coast is in texas. i am nowhere near here, but there are thousands of refugees (?) coming to austin, the kids are even being enrolled into our schools! it's so crazy.

i agree with you on the ppl that stayed, but the "dam breaking" (levies)was more of the problem than the storm itself. n.o. is a shitty-ass set up of a city, and this should come as no surprise when a really big storm (i'm sure a much lesser would do similar damage) drains the ground away.

i did like the "lake new orleans" map... was that you, or someone else?
