I was supposed to have a first date with this girl on wednesday but she had to take a rain check as it's her niece's 5th birthday, so we'll re-schedule. Anyway, my question for my friends on here is - if after sending several texts back and forth yesterday, and i don't even get a simple 'Happy Valentine's Day', despite the fact that i'd sent that

Until you officially have a date I wouldn't worry about the lack of Valentine's correspondance. She may genuinally not feel like saying it, or may be feeling in an anti-valentine's mood. Regardless of how much you are probably currently friends or have in common she may simply not be a person for celebrating any commercial holiday until she has unshakeable feelings for someone.

Some people take a while to build up to that type of thing. It doesn't mean she doesn't like you.

If she avoids re-scheduling, then you have to consider that she's getting cold feet on taking things to the date level

^what Sam said. Twas pretty much along the same lines as what I was gonna say but adding "yeah I know I aint a guy but from a girls prospective blah blah blah" but without actually writing blah blah blah of course.
Don't fret just yet.
