Nostalgia is a strength, if you don't get lost in it. Moving forward quickly sounds nice, but what are you rushing towards... the end?

Too true, especially with the frenetic pace modern life sets for us from the start. Stop, reassess, reset your course. It's how we grow as people.

very apt. But it's now always the easiest thing to do, sometimes life is easier when you just live it, many people think that, once you move yourself out of it, you'll see things that you wish you hadn't, and those are the hardest things to deal with. Though, i still agree with you, it does only do oneself good in the end.

sometimes we need to see the things we wish we never saw in order to keep ourselves in line, pick up the pieces, whatever it is that we need to do. the things we see are usually really hard to deal with, because they are things we NEED to acknowledge, but usualyl don't WANT to.
