It's simply a matter of timing Kes. You being bored because your life, for th most part, is now working out. And as for the meaning of life, to coin Douglas Adam's "I pick 42 because it was artbitrary. Randomly out of thin air. Is it my fault that I was right?" (one of his last interviews before the movie realy got hopping)
