Actually I thought 'Be Thou My Vision' was quite good seeing as virtually all the people singing it were in your form.

I'm not sure the duck was real and I think the cats been there since year seven.

The hip, hip hooray thing was shouted out by Charlie who was sitting behind me.

The school birthday is one of the longest running traditions at the school, I agree it's rather Christian orientated but in this time of political correctness I think that's a good thing (not the christian bit but the fact that it hasn't been turned into a 'we can't mention anything in case we offend anyone' day.

However I agree on the Africa thing.

im not criticising anyones artistic abilities, i just despise the song.

charlie is a dopey bitch

i agree its a tradition needed, just not in its current format. a normal length/half an hour assembley taken by mrs clewlow or miss ginnity reminding us of the point of our school (eg equality) would be far more appropriate. the world of pc is irrelevant in this case, because how many people in our school actually have any christian beliefs? it's just stupid to force irrelevant practices on a load of teenagers.

But if it's traditional you shouldn't change the format.

haha omg i hate kirsty...i loved it that she fucked up her words. She has such a shit speaking voice and doesn't even deserve to be head girl considering that the only prefects she asks to do stuff are her bestest friends. Stupid bitch.

She doesn't do anything-Alison organises everything.

why? this particular tradition is meaningless. so it wont matter if the format is changed.
