Well! It certainly is lovely to be back! Goodness, for a while there I very nearly lost hope -- but then I remembered that everyone on the Way and I are connected in our very souls by the strings of love, and that all I had to do was follow my heart and I would be certain to find my way back!

I missed you all so much while I was gone -- it felt as though my heart would fall right out of my chest and shatter into tiny pieces on the ground! But now I am back and so everything is all right again!

My goodness! You must truly have formed a very special bond with them! Oh, it makes me so happy to know that there is someone else on this ship who understands how wonderful the mice are, in all their tiny splendor!
Oh dear, poor Watanuki! I hope he's doing better now. He must have been in quite a big slump indeed, if he was spending time with the mice and not yelling or flailing! (This is, after all, how he expresses his love for them!)
Turtle, dear, you are doing wonderfully! Your dedication and talent in your craft is simply exquisite!

Enjoy them? Gintoki practically lives off them! Literally! If he doesn't get his sugary desserts, he gets exhausted and upset. I'm sure he's going to love you.

Oh, thank you! I find that a positive attitude is much more productive than being dour and gloomy all day! I think the world would be a much nicer place if more people thought like you and I! And you really must show me your dancing sometime; there is absolutely nothing nicer to go with a lovely song than a lovely dance!
