Two nights ago I had a dream that I was at my front porch at night by the woods (an imaginary porch in that we don't really have a full on porch, and my house isn't near the woods at all.) In this dream, from the midst of the woods, three white wolves come prancing by me. They sniff around, smell me, and then leave. Let's see what this means.

But, sir, you are sending me mixed messages with all those on one hand, and, on the other hand, giving me no real basis to begin my life, what with no permanent job, fixed income, or a general section of the east coast where to focus my energies. -

This job thing is starting to get to me.
I'm getting to the point where I am envious of and almost angry with all those around me. I'm sorry, but I find it a bit difficult to feel sympathy for your leaving this six-figure salary job after eight years to make six figures elsewhere when your district is unsure of hiring me back at a third of your ( Read more... ) -

So I've decided to apply to the leave replacement position for next year at South Brunswick. I love the school, the students, and the staff. It's my favorite of the schools where I have worked, and there will be some retirements in the department within a year or two. Awkward moment at work. My supervisor asked me to complete a portfolio. The portfolio is a tenure track three-year assignment that non-tenured teachers work on. It is pretty intense. My supervisor set me up with it at the beginning of the year and has asked me to work towards it, regardless of the future ( Read more... ) -

Pitman's deadline for the open English teacher position closes tomorrow.
Let's hope I hear something from them in the near future. I'm tired of waiting for the next chapter.
