Oh I like the top one. :) Using raspberries instead of the flowers was pretty much exactly what I was going for. Only in buttercream instead of fondant, right?
Yes, definitely buttercream instead of fondant! So much easier, and tastes better, too :) You also have the option of using real ribbon, like they did, or you can get a wide icing tip, make a small amount of icing in the color you want, and make a wide line around the cake that looks like ribbon (but that you can actually eat..lol).
