Its human nature to be insecure, in a state of inertia (at times), and to want whatever it is that hasn't yet been handed to you on a platter. oh, or handed to you on a platter, and then the thing that was on the platter grows legs and gets up and runs away. :)

But. um. just because things are in our nature doesn't mean we can't change them completely. at least I think.
