i've finished my art star ornaments, just in the nick of time! i was stumped this year, but went for the much-too-obvious owl theme. but i mixed it up by adding wood veneer, as well as engraving the feathers on the wings, body & eyes. it was fun! here are a few pix:

thanks lesley! they'll be available at art star in philadelphia. i believe they also list them for sale on their site as well: http://www.artstarphilly.com but i don't think the show has started yet. i may list a couple of the leftovers on my etsy site in a couple weeks. thanks again, so glad you like them!
