what exactly are the "badges"? are they just the squares of glass with nothing on them? or do they have a pin backing or something?

they're whichever you choose: as simple "badges" they have a pinback on them; they can also be ordered as pendants. ;)

Welcome to Boston! I lived there for nearly 10 years, I live in Providence now. There really is lots of cool stuff to see. There are also many nifty crafters here in New England, and we try to get together every so often.

I love your work! And I love my super-owl badge, which always gets lots of compliments when I wear it.

I do have one question, though-- is it possible to purchase the pendants without the chain? If I tried to wear a 16" chain, I would feel like I was gagging all day. I want to order a couple different pendants, but I'd hate to buy "stubby" chains I'll never use. :)
