Yes, this is way too true, sobbbb. I'VE HEARD FANS SAY THAT CANON IS BORING AND FANON IS WAY MORE INTERESTING, which could be applied to everything, but when it's the majority that say this, it's kind of... lol. And canon might be 'boring,' but idk man. |D;;;

Oh hi. Yeah, my thoughts are similar to yours. Well, to the first one my reaction was kind of "Oh, that's pretty... but their first movie was incredibly lame for the way they hyped it up, I don't trust it."

The second was a constant stream of "Oh man, it's Renko and Maribel. Maybe this isn't so ba -- god damn it what did Alice ever do to this fandom?! But, but Renko and Mary! And Akyuu! And look now they're doing something dramatic and plotlike! But memes and Alice..."

I'm conflicted. :/

Also I hadn't noticed Reitaisai's juxtaposition to the ides of March. I'd take it as an omen of fear, but we already know of ZUN's plan to murder us via Shoot the Bullet 2.

EXACTLY! The way they presented it in the 2nd one is confusing me, like how you described. This looks like it might be cool, but with our luck it's going to be something very... not. At least it's not canon!

The first one had a pretty decent trailer, but then the actual thing turned out to be a five minute music video less elaborate than its OP and ED, which we had already seen in previews. I retain my distrust. ...It's just tempting.

Of course, since we're American pirates who don't actually buy any of this stuff, we'll watch it anyway, so does it even really matter?

...WAIT A SECOND HeartGold/SoulSilver is also ides of March-oriented! What a stunning ides.

I saw their other works, and they like making music videos apparently, so I am not surprised by this! But watching it sounds like a good idea, just so we can make our own judgment.
