ok, this is what happened. i was looking for jobs on the net when my friend recommended the seek website to me because he said that it was really good. so i logged on to their website, and randomly clicked the buttons, cos i was really bored. and i stumbled onto this extras/models/actors/musicians agency job ad, and i thought that, as a joke, i'll ( Read more... )

Tell your parents. They're people who'll watch your back from a viewpoint with far greater existence, and they'll make sure that what they believe is best for you happens, so you don't have to worry so much ( ... )

thanks for the advice!:D but i'm not sure what my parents will say......they're asian, so that sorta makes it a bit unpredicatable.....

on the other hand, your tidbits of info about famous people are v. interesting. thnx! i think i'll go with it, just to see what happens, but i'll probably chicken out sometime soon.....hahahaha......

My advice, don't take the modeling job. My brother is a model and he plays on Days of our Lives sometimes... and it's not worth it all. They'll keep pulling and pulling on your modesty and it's just not a good field to go into. The people cheat on you and rag on you all the time. But, if you feel it's something you want to do, go ahead. It might be fun, who knows... challenges are fun sometimes! Pray over it and ask for guidance and get lots of people's opinions before you leap into action. :-)

yeah, i never planned to sign up as a model, it'd be my worst nightmare....and i dunno, i'm pretty strong as saying no to things that i know i definately don't want to do.....but you're right, it's probably gonna be hard to stand up sometimes/most of the times......but do they cheat on you? cos i'm not sure how it is in Melbourne, Australia (where i live), but i haven't really heard any stories about dodgy deals and stuff, but then again, i don't know a lot of people in the entertainment industry....
i am praying over it, i just hope that i make a good decision really soon.....and plus there's the aspect of performing again. i miss it. i miss the performing/acting part of my life ever since i stopped last year, so it'll be good to get some acting done, stretch myself a little, even if it's just in fruitless auditions...
