however, recently i had a friend who was pro life get an abortion because she doesn't want her figure to be ruined and she was thinking about leaving her husband.
i guess no one really knows until you are faced with the decision. I haven't, so I can't really say either way.
i think that if you are a parent and or has gone through pregnancy all the way then you have the right to be firm in your opinions, but in reality many people in both camps have no idea what they would *really* do.
my pro life friend is a prime example...
(and i am pro choice but tried my best to talk her out of it...ruining your figure is the LAST reason you should think of. gah.) lost respect for her, i have to admit.
Even if you were raped, have the baby, let someone adopt him/her, someone will want that baby. If it was an incest situation, put the baby up for adoption. If you're young, and it's a health issue, you can try to have the baby because there are a lot of health risks in an abortion too.
I personally agree with you on the abortion issue, however, don't think it's ironic you go from one post saying you are going to kill people to the next preaching your views on abortion?
Yeah, the last one about me killing people was mainly me blowing off steam. I was just pissed off about stuff and so I was taking out my anger on people and all that. Sorry for the confusion and stuff.

Well, it also depends on the feelings of the daughter. If I had a daughter in that situation, and she chose to risk her life to have the baby, I would support her. Because I know that if I got raped, and having the baby might kill me, I would probably choose to have the baby and save the baby's life, even if it meant sacrificing my own. I appreciate your reply and your opinion, because it does make sense. I can see your point, I think. I am still strongly against abortion though. There are situations where it might be considered as a possibility, but I personally would never do that to a baby.

Would you want your daughter to die (consider the emotions of you, your spouse, and her friends) for the sake of an unborn child?
