Damn ideas...
After conventions, I always have ideas for a costume or something for the next one. There are two I really want to do for Dragon*Con, one which will take a boatload of effort, and one which won't take as much, but would still be awesome.
The work-intensive one is Venom, from Guilty Gear. After seeing how well A.B.A. and May turned out, I'd like to get in on the group costume action. Hopefully I can commission Katherine on it, because I think that would rock.
The second one - Rick Astley. Imagine if you will, walking to and from areas of Dragon*Con, in the middle of a crowded hotel lobby, when you hear the almost iconic drumbeat come from nowhere, and see some weirdo who looks like Rick himself break out into that shitty song and dance. Taking the Rickroll up to the next level? It would be metal.
Last night was a rather interesting and unexpected change from the normal. I can't remember the last time I was assaulted by so many IMs. I felt so popular 'n' shit. And the weird part was, most of them were actually meaningful. It was a cool night to be online.
Well, off to get ready for work. Praise be to whoever invented the half-day - 4-8. After I get my pay and all that sorted out correctly, I can't wait to see what my paychecks are going to look like. /drool over the idea... although I needs to save up a good amount this summer; I can't be going back to school with nothing but my loan money to sustain me.
