This whole entry is thumbs-up material. I won't bore you with what happened for our Prom (although you probably heard about most of it since you were there), but looking back on it we were WAY too worked up about it.

The whole conversation with your mother made me lol. Not at you, but at your mother completely dodging the subject.

And even though I love him, the Billy Joel line was perfect ;P

Don't be hating on my boy Billy Joel.

Oh, and prom sucks. The Hamptons suck. Most people go there and do dumb things, and the people who don't do dumb things sit there quietly and twiddle their thumbs.

But that's just my opinion. :-)
