a part of the anatomy i can't stand

after watching about 4 or 5 episodes of the hit show, Grey's Anatomy, i have come to understand why the show is a success: it's funny, often times touching, and my love for Patrick Dempsey has not changed ever since the wonderful 80s movie, Can't Buy Me Love. But there is one annoying hurdle in the show i cannot get over:

I don't think many critics like her either. It's funny, she's supposed to be the main character right? Why is it that she's never pictured or named when magazines talk about the show? I also heard she's kinda like Ally Mcbeal...is it true?

the show's focus isn't necessarily based on her like ally mcbeal. and, no, i don't think she is like ally. ally was more likable.

anti-feminist, feminist-- doesn't matter. you know if you were dating someone who all of a sudden says "whoops, i'm married," you know you wouldn't be able to just let it go. And then if you had to see him all the time? You know that shit would be hard.

And Arvey, she's not cartoonish like Ally McBeal. Neurotic, yes; hallucinating babies, no.

Anyway Sandra Oh's my girl and I'm so happy she got a Golden Globe!

i don't know. some of us can cut the relationship off completely cold turkey. yeah, it can be hard at first, especially if you had to see him all the time (and if he shows up at your mother's nursing home), but the girl should know better.

if i dated a person for a while who told me that he was married/in another relationship (it has happened before), then my attration to him would decrease significantly. i wouldn't want to be labeled as "the other person," you know? it's a tough call, i guess.
