This season reminds me of The Joy of Painting. Not just because the surroundings look just like something Bob would paint. But, I really got into the show around this time ( Read more... )

My sister had NOOO idea that Bob was on TV in syndication, and last weekend we sat down together and watched. We just watched the whole thing without fighting. Side note: Bob's random cabins are the sometimes the coolest part of the painting.

Hah, I know! When he doesn't put a cabin...it's like he's sick or something. Always just plops a lil' snow covered cabin somewhere...it's so cool.:)

Ha, i love his random cabins. Hes like "this looks like a place i'd like to live" and then *poof* cabin. Omg, im so excited. My mom bought me that book they always show at the end of the show called "the best of the joy of painting". Its the coolest book ever. I want to frame some of them but i dont want to rip the book apart. My sister thinks im a freak but whatever.

OMG!! you got the book?! once, i got dragged to a Michael's Craft Center (nor cal's one-stop shop for all your crafting needs) and they were offering a class on Bob's technique..but my mom wouldn't let me stay...she's only into needlepoint. le sigh.

I know, i was so excited! I guess the place that she found it at had hella Bob stuff. OMG michaels offers those? i bet it varies at every store though. Lame. I work at a Jo-ann fabrics store and we have a bunch of technique stuff for some dude named Alexander but no BR. *tears*
