Aranzi Aronzo: Aranzi Aronzo are a company that make books and merchandise of their cute characters. Some of their books, like the "Aranzi Machine Gun" volumes, are collections of little comics about cute characters like Panda and White Rabbit and Sprite. They also do books like "The Cute Book" that teach you how to sew plush toys of the characters. If you need evidence of how incredibly adorable their stuff is just google image search the name. I'm interested in them because their characters are insanely adorable and their sewing patterns are nice and simple for me to follow.
Bromance: Man, bromance! Basically I prefer my gay with some hilariously fake macho masculinity over the top. Army of Two is my favourite example of this; Salem and Rios strut about waving guns and wearing scary masks and growling, but then Salem gets shot and suddenly it all gets oh so very emotional. This may be related to me finding bruised and bleeding men more attractive. (Boxing <33)
Chiptunes: Chiptunes are like music that was created especially for me. In case you're in the dark here (I was until not very long ago) Chiptunes are songs created using things like old Ataris, Gameboys and Amigas as the instruments. 8 Bit Collective is a good place for finding tunes made by beginners and veterans alike. Here's a song I like too, for good measure. I can't really explain why I love them so much; I find the beeps and noises adorable, and they make the music sound fun to me.
Gaudy things: I have something of an affection for bright, tacky, inane objects and accessories and costumes. I'm too shy to actually express my love for them, obviously, but I always seem to linger around the most eye-blistering items in a lot of stores. One of the things I love most about Christmas is how every shop window becomes a tastless clash of flickering fairylights, sparkly tinsel, cheery music and tiny dancing Santas. It is beautiful. Like I've said to pyroteamkill, there's something about gaudy plastic consumerism that I adore.
Gay robots: Robots! Robots that are gay! Gaaaay robots! Yeah this mostly stemmed from the whole "man it would be really cute if the Daft Punk robots kissed". Gay robots are something I enjoy on a purely innocent level, since when it comes to robot sexuality my mind only really goes as far as cuddling and then the barriers go up. Cuddling is enough to make gay robots one of my favourite interests though. Lesbots are fine too.
Red vs. Blue: One of my first slash fandoms! Well, one of the first I was comfortable admitting to, and actively participated in. I'm proud that some people have joined the rvb_slash community saying that they were lured there by art of mine. Even though I don't draw for it much anymore, Tucker and Church remain one of my most loved OTPs, so much so that every now and again I tend to go back to them for more art inspiration :3c
The Sicilian Mafia: I enjoy reading about organised crime in Italy in general by this point, to be honest, but the Sicilian Mafia remains my favourite part. None-fiction books about the Italian Mafia are one thing I can't ever seem to get enough of. I think the interest originally stemmed from being part Italian from my dad's side, and just wanting to know more about Italian history. I focused on the crime aspect because I generally tend to enjoy books from the true crime section. I like the idea of drawing a comic or some characters based in a Mafia situation, but I like the subject enough to want to stay at least mostly to the truth, so I'll need to keep reading up on it first.
