Key and Onew were on the couch and the leader’s lap was the rapper’s pillow for the day. They were lazing around the living room, watching the television. All the other members were out for their schedules and left the both of them in the dorm. They watched the rebroadcast of the variety show “Night Star”. It was the episode when all of the SHINee members first attended this show.
The show played the part when Onew kneeled in front of Gil and was getting ready to flick his forehead. Gil seems to be in pain after his attack. Was it really that painful? Key pondered. It might be an instruction by the PD to act like it really hurts to please the audience just like how food related variety shows does. The MCs were forced to give appropriate facial expression on how heavenly it tasted to convince the viewers to buy it.
Everyone in the show had already tried it except for him. Even though everyone said that it was really painful, he refused to believe until he experience it himself. Commercial break started and Key sat up to face Onew and made an eccentric request.
“Hit me.”
“WHAT? You want me to hit you?” The leader showed him a fist and getting ready to fulfill his wish.
“I DON’T MEAN THAT. I mean flick my forehead.”
“Oh…” Onew kept his fist to himself
The younger one adjusted himself 90 degree away from the television to face his hyung. He leaned forward a little so that it would be easier for Onew to flick his forehead.
“Quickly!” Key hurried his hyung and anticipated for his hit.
Onew was a little reluctant. They did not joke about how painful it really was. It was unbelievable but it was the truth. He love the younger one and of course hurting his was the last thing he would even want to do.
“I don’t want to hurt you. It is really painful.” He warned his member.
Being the stubborn diva who never gives up until he gets what he wants, he insisted on his leader doing it, “just try it.”
The older one had no choice but to listen. His hand was placed on his forehead with his middle finger at the middle of the eyebrows. Onew pulled his middle finger back to furthest. Key was looking at him and was getting ready to get flick by his hyung.
“Can you close your eyes? I can’t hit you if you stare at me…” Key listened to him and quickly shut his eyes.
Onew took in a deep breath and mentally prepare himself to flick Key’s forehead. However, he could not flick his finger no matter how much preparation he had done mentally. Key was way too precious to be hit. After few minutes later, he still did not do anything and the diva was getting impatient.
“Come on hyung, I want to watch the rebroadcast.”
“Okay, I am going to start now.”
With his hands in place, he did not flick his head like he said he would. He leaned forwards just to give a kiss slightly above his forehead. Onew quickly settle himself back on the couch and scratched his head awkwardly. Key’s eyes flew opened immediately to find the leader blushing cutely. Onew could not read his expression. Was he angry at him not flicking his forehead or was he dumbfounded by his sudden expression for love?
Perhaps he should leave.
“Erm…I am tired. I am going to bed.” He excused himself.
Key stopped him by holding on to his wrist and prevented him from leaving. Onew looked back at the younger one, not understanding what he wanted.
“Can you do it again? But this time around my lips.”
And Onew did.
