Oh that is just ridiculous, and I thought the situation in my lab was bad. We have a postdoc just like that Mana idiot ( ... )

well .. in the end I tell you what happened ..

we have a meeting, and the QA manager (bitch that she is) monopolized the meeting and verbalised all my ideas .. which were,

2 or 3 people are solely responsible for all occurances in the lab .. if tha means buffers then that's what they do .. aliquoting reagents out? that's what they do .. and it's fair bcause areas cover other areas ..

and a few others which are less important ...

but that pissed me off .. but at least I can rouse on people and point fingers if I get to a buffer and it's not there :-)

WE unfortunately don't do cultures .. :-( ..

I try not to complain too much so when I do it has more of an effect. Wait a while, point out mana's behavior to others and when she doesn't do her job complain straight to the appropriate person above you with all your valid arguements in a proffesional and intellectual manner. Show her behavior to be unacceptable and most importantly chronic. If your superior sees her behavior as in not the best interest of the lab they might agree to start disaplinary action in an attempt to change the behavior.

Sorry about the pain of being a woman. If it would make you feel bettr you can virtually bonk me on the head so a guy feels the pain. You can bonk me on the head in actaulity, but you're an ocean away, so luckily I'm in luck.
