I was a piercer when I saw you last, but it just wasn't viable moneywise, travelling to Winchester everyday was costing me and to be honest I got a bit bored. I needed money to travel with so got something better paid. The travelling didn't really happen though as tp had job issuses and compromises were made. Japan!

I think I will have to fight for the PC in that case as it's usually taken up with Dawn of War or Warhammer. I'll have to fight him! ;)

Are you happy doing your mental health work? My friend Juler qualified as an OT last year and has just finished her first six moths if physical disability but she really wants to do mental (heh, that sounds funny!)

I didn't hear anything about it. I like Ellie lots, but we only see each other at random events (I've not seen her since her 80's party either!) so we are more friendly aquintances & LJ penpals than close mates.

Mental health work is interesting, I'm larning a lot about the conditions and medication. Ocupational Therapists don't get involve in the medication side of things, but there as the senior ward nurse said - with powerful medication can come powerful side effects are a lot of side effects that it'll be handy to know about.

What was Japan like? I'd love to go there! Me and my housemate have decided that we're going to save up and treat ourselves when we finish our second year of Japanese. Either that or when we win the lottery.
