I've spent the last couple of days trying to find a new layout that I liked and have finally found one. I think the sliding topbar is pretty cool. I'm not 100% happy with the links in it right now, but I will fix that up later

The sliding topbar is seriously cool, I could play with it all day :)

Know exactly what you mean about livejournal, I've been feeling a bit stalled on it. I think it's nice to have a mixture of blog and journal entries - just go with whatever you fancy posting, don't worry about what box it fits into.
