Stating that my life has changed and I've been busy...well, that's an understatement.
My family, friends, and co-workers organized three babyshowers for me, and I had tons of fun at each one. The first babyshower was organized by my co-workers at Diana's house (image above)...it was also the only babyshower where the guys outnumbered the girls. The second babyshower was organized by my family and friends, and was by far the biggest party of the three. There were so many people that we had to extend the crowd to the backyard. The third babyshower was organized by Robert's family, and I finally met long lost relatives they searched for in time for the babyshower. All three parties combined contained all the people I love most...couldn't have asked for anything more.
On January 15th, 2008 (a week overdue)...contractions began while walking around the mall and eating 'double dutch chocolate' ice cream. Realizing I was in active labor I took a photograph of myself hours before heading to the hospital...I wanted a photograph to remember.
Welcome to this world...Lily! My love arrived January 16th, 2008 at 4:55pm weighing 9 lbs (and delivered naturally...AH!).
Look at these feet...she measured at 20 inches, and will probably tower over me by the time she's in high school.
I'm completely in love with her...
As of today, Lily is 1 month old...and has the most contagious laugh and smile. *sigh*
