So I got an iPod Nano and it holds 2GB. I don't know if I should upgrade to the 4GB Nano or to the 30GB iPod....What do you guys think I should do? And what do you have if you have one??

yeah I really like the look of it being black and small but I don't know how many songs I am gonna hold on it. And I kinda want it for my plane ride next week. So I dunno it's kinda a tough decision

I got my boyfriend the 30GB, compared to the nano with 4GB it's better. If you want to pay the extra money I would do it because you get 6000 more songs for like $50 more than the 4GB. Oh, and another plus is the video option! Otherwise, you are basically stuck with the upgraded iPod Shuffle because it doesn't hold too many. Unless you are going for a small size and you don't have that many songs or don't mind switching them. :/

Do you know how easy it is to switch them? I heard you have to empty the whole thing and start over from scratch??

oh and I have the 2GB =P

It's not that easy. Basically, you'd have to reset your iPod( which, itself is easy, just pressing a series of buttons) and then change the songs on your itunes and reload them to the iPod with your computer. It'd probably take about an hour or so to do it.

yeah my sister said she has done that...but I don't know I think I may just upgrade to the 4GB cuz I wanna be able to use it to work out. I wish they still had that 6GB mini.

Is there a certain program you can use instead of itunes? I heard itunes is kinda a shitty program and there are better ones.

yours will probably hold like 300-350 songs.

youd probably get sick of those songs but still.

it's not hard deleting them and putting more on there.

but that's all up to you.

i'd go with the 30gb just because i'm lazy but w/e

well yeah i could be wrong...all depends on the size of your file i suppose.
but i doubt 500...maybe 400!

yeah i would but that's just me.

ahahha yeah. the reg ipod isn't that big. ive never compared them (never seen the nano irl :\\\) but the ipod isnt that bulky, to me...at least.
it'll fit in your pocket :D

lol yah im sure they say 500 as in 500 is the best your gonna be able to do...if you have small files.

Ha true the mini's are good for workin out but they dont sell them anymore....I wanna be able to run w/ it so IDK the nano is quite small.

Nanos are very shitty... we see a lot of people @ Best Buy return them with problems/to upgrade. They only have a replacement plan, not a service plan so that shows how shitty they are.
I would go with the 30 GB iPod :)
