Me and Leah are well into going to castles and the like all the time! I think they're great! We were at Inchcolm Abbey yesterday on Inchcolm Island, so also needed a boat to get there! It was quality!

I thought it was cool that you guys were going to so many castles. Made me miss my castle outings with Dad when I was wee. So we're making up for that now!

If you plan on going to a few, you should def get the historic scotland membership - lets you wander in for free and you get a discount at the shops!

Yeah, I was thinking about that. I got some leaflets and with all the places we want to visit, it might well be worth it!

I love castles! My uncle used to take me to visit a lot of them when i was little and i have fond memoroes (god, that sounds really sad!). There are a lot of castles in the East Lothian area that are worth a nose about. It's a great thing to go to as a kid as they are so big and I used to try and imagine what it would look like and what it would be like to live there. Reading that back, my childhood wasn't as dull as i've just made it out, haha! xx
