I've now received offers from 3 universities. Cardiff and UEA both want two As and a B, and the A must be in English Literature, and I'm pretty sure that's what Sussex will want, too. I guess this is good. Three replies, three acceptances. But it's also frightening. I HAVE to get an A in English, or I'm fucked in the arse. Now. I got my A last year ( Read more... )

My dad went to UEA, there is an excellent union with lots of bands apparantly (at least there was in the 70s haha). Don't make the mistake he made and take acid at a Hawkwind show and get your head caught in railings.

Why would you be seeing Hawkwind anyway?

Mmmm. Someone (very slightly more current) said they got a lot of good bands.

And why WOULDN'T I go and see Hawkwind?
