so.. I went to jamaica from thursday to sunday. my grandpa had a stroke about two weeks ago, so me, my mom, the baby, and my lil bro and sis went to visit him. he's doing pretty good. he's walking and all, but his right leg isn't doing so well. I miss my grandpa, it was so sad when we had to leave

it's not an american thing.. it's only like this for public schools in south florida... two years ago, school started at the end of august.. but last year they took away a week of summer, so that school could start earlier, and they're doing it again this year. it really sux for us.
