Thank you. One of my favorite Oz stories that really stuck with me is this one that ozsaur wrote for Magi one year, which was not only a B/K fix-it, but also a fix-it for Carrie. She really deserved a better ending.

Thanks. I hesitated to post it, because it really wasn't in the spirit of "women empowerment" that seemed to drive International Women's Day, but then I figured hers was a voice that deserved to be heard.

If you feel inclined to write a second drabble for me (no obligation!), how about something with the O'Reily brothers for Challenge 057 "Irish"?

Oh, Carrie! I loved that sudden realization, but I know that she still wouldn't give up on Hank. She would lie to herself, and think that Hank really did love her. His death was the best thing that could have happened to her.

It really was. I thought Carrie was such a great character, despite her love for the monstrous Hank. I wish she'd had a happier ending. I don't know if you saw my reply to mazephoenix above, but one of my all-time favorite Oz fics is this story that you wrote for oz_magi one year. It was such a great fix-it for not just Toby and Chris, but Carrie, too, and with such a great twist at the end. I re-read quite often. ♥

OMG I'm blushing! I love that story because I got to give happy endings to so many of my favorite characters, and it was also fun to write Hank. I never really understood his motivation in canon. Why would he risk imprisonment, possibly death row, for a little money? Or to please his dad. What little we saw of him, he didn't seem like the kind of guy who'd put himself out for anyone.
