Oh honey, Summerwood is fine :) The storm seemed to center itself strictly in the Oaks - I haven't even HEARD of any damage anywhere else, so your dad's house should be just fine :)

My house is okay, too. My mom was really scared some of the bigger trees would break, because they were all bending way over in the wind!

Isabelle, Katie, and my dad had just gotten into the car to take Katie home (she lives in her own apt. now) when it hit! They were dodging falling branches and everything, but they wanted to get out of the neighborhood to get away from the wind.

Scary!

My mom said the Trails got hit pretty hard, too. She said a huge tree fell right smack on a house...

Yeah, I drove by your house to make sure it was okay, and I was relieved to see it was fine :) That's so great Katie has an apartment! I'm so proud of how far she's going! I saw Irene at Old Navy a few months ago, she seems to be doing very well also :) I miss your family, you should let me know when you'll be in town next (as Mrs. Wise). Love you!
